Pay attention to the special use of electrolytic capacitor

Pay attention to some special use precautions of electrolytic capacitor. We usually need to pay attention to some matters in the process of using capacitor, so as to avoid some consequences. 1. Capacitor circuit design (1) when confirming the use and installation environment, as a capacitor used within the rated performance range specified in the product sample design specification, it should be avoided to use under the following conditions: a) high temperature (temperature exceeds the maximum operating temperature) b) over-current (current exceeding the rated ripple current) C) overvoltage (voltage exceeding the rated voltage) d) Apply reverse voltage or AC voltage. e) It is used in the circuit with repeated rapid charge and discharge. Another: in the circuit design, please choose the capacitor with the same life as the machine. (2) The capacitor shell, auxiliary lead-in terminal and positive, negative and circuit board must be completely isolated; (3) when the insulation of capacitor bushing cannot be guaranteed, do not use it where there are specific requirements for insulation performance; (4) do not use the capacitor in the following environment: a) directly contact with water, salt water and oil, or condensation environment; b) Environment full of harmful gases (sulfide, H2SO3, HNO2, Cl2, ammonia, etc.); c) exposed to sunlight, O3, UV and radioactive substances; d) harsh environment with vibration and shock conditions exceeding the specified range of samples and instructions; (5) when designing the installation of capacitor, the following contents must be confirmed: a) The distance between positive and negative electrodes of capacitor must be consistent with the hole distance of circuit board; b) certain space should be reserved above the explosion-proof valve of capacitor; c) wiring and installation of other components should be avoided as far as possible above the explosion-proof valve of capacitor; d) there should be no other wiring for the installation position of capacitor on the circuit board; E) the design and installation of heating elements around the capacitor and on the circuit board should be avoided as far as possible; (6) In addition, in the design of the circuit, the following must be confirmed: a) the change of temperature and frequency will not cause the change of electrical performance; b) when installing the capacitor on the double-sided printed board, the installation position of the capacitor should avoid redundant base plate hole and via hole; c) the current balance when two or more capacitors are connected in parallel; d) the voltage balance when two or more capacitors are connected in series. 2. Installation of components (1) please observe the following contents during installation: a) in order to carry out spot inspection on the capacitor, when measuring the electrical performance, except for the removed capacitor, do not use the capacitor that passes through the machine; b) when the capacitor generates regeneration voltage, it needs to discharge through a resistance of about 1K ω; c) when the capacitor is stored for a long time, it needs to pass through about 1 After confirming the specification (electrostatic capacity and rated voltage, etc.) and polarity, e) do not let the capacitor fall to the ground, and do not use the dropped capacitor; F) do not install the deformed capacitor; g) the distance between the positive and negative electrodes of the capacitor and the hole distance of the circuit board must be consistent; H) the manipulator force of the automatic insertion machine should not be too large; (2) When welding, please confirm the following contents: a) pay attention not to attach the solder outside the terminal; b) the welding conditions (temperature, time, times) must be carried out according to the specified instructions; c) do not immerse the capacitor itself into the solder solution; d) do not let other products fall down on the capacitor during welding; (3) the treatment after welding shall not produce the following mechanical stress: a) The capacitor topples and twists; b) the capacitor touches other circuit boards; c) other objects collide with the capacitor; (4) the capacitor should not be cleaned with detergent, but the capacitor must be cleaned within the scope specified in the product specification when it is necessary to clean the capacitor; (5) for the capacitor that needs to be cleaned, the following contents must be confirmed: a) Cleaning agent pollution management (conductivity, pH value, specific gravity, moisture, etc.); b) after cleaning, it is not allowed to keep it in the detergent environment and closed container. It is necessary to use hot air (below the maximum operating temperature) to dry printed circuit boards and capacitors, so as to avoid residue of detergent components. (6) Halogen containing fixing agent and resin coating agent are not used. (7) When using fixing agent and coating agent, please confirm the following contents: a) there shall be no welding residue and dirt between the circuit board and capacitor; b) before the fixing agent and coating agent are adsorbed, the cleaning component shall not be left as far as possible, and the printing hole shall not be blocked; C) the heat hardening condition of fixing agent and coating agent shall be implemented according to the requirements of the specification.3. Assembly and use (1) during assembly and use, please observe the following contents: do not directly contact the capacitor terminals, in addition, do not let the conductor material cause short circuit between positive and negative electrodes; (2) please confirm the environment where the capacitor is installed a) do not contact with water or oil or be in the state of condensation; b) do not let sunlight, O3, ultraviolet and radiation directly irradiate the capacitor Do not be in the environment full of harmful gases (hydrogen sulfide, sulfite, nitric acid, ammonia, Cl2, etc.) d) vibration and impact shall not exceed the values specified in the samples or specifications; 4. Conservative spot inspection of capacitors used in factories and enterprises must be carried out regularly, and the regular spot inspection items include appearance inspection and electrical performance test; 5. Accidents (1) In the process of assembling and using, if the explosion-proof valve of the capacitor is opened, please cut off the main power supply or pull off the plug of the power line; (2) when the explosion-proof valve of the capacitor acts, due to the high-temperature gas over 100 ℃, keep away from your face. Clean eyes with water as soon as the gas comes into your eyes. Do not taste the electrolyte of the capacitor. When the electrolyte splashes on the skin, wash it with soap; 6. Fumigation treatment. When the electronic products assembled with capacitor are exported to overseas, fumigation treatment is carried out with halides such as potassium bromide. As this method may cause corrosion reaction caused by halogen ion, please be careful. During fumigation, the fumigant can not directly contact with electronic products, and it is necessary to conduct sufficient drying treatment. It is necessary to check the safety first if there is fumigation liquid attached or insufficient drying; 7. Storage conditions (1) indoor storage with temperature of 5-30 ℃ and humidity of less than 75%; 2) do not store in the forbidden environment and the same conditions during assembly and use 8. Scrapped capacitors can be disposed of in one of the following ways: (1) the capacitor is perforated or crushed and then burned; (2) when the capacitor is not burned, it is handed over to the full-time waste recycling personnel for deep burial.
